Jamie Lean has over 20 years of experience as a moving image archivist, as well as working as an architect and professional photographer. He has been Secretary General of the SouthEast Asia and Pacific Audiovisual Archiving Association, and is currently Deputy Chair of the UNESCO Memory of the World New Zealand Committee.
At Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision, he leads the Collection Services department. The Collection Services department is responsible for caring for and developing all Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision collections to ensure their availability for posterity. The department’s functions include:
